Turnhead Distributors

Essmueller’s Turnhead Distributors are customized for your specific application.

We offer both round and flat-back designs with slopes in 60°, 50° and 45°. These can be sized from 6” diameter to 48” diameter spouts with capacities up to 120,000 bushels per hour. Standard models feature the (TE) dust tight enclosure or the (IIG) explosion-proof enclosure. The optional “Smart” control system accurately moves the spout in either direction to the selected outlet. Our unique flatbottom seal minimizes dust accumulation by closing the space between the spout and outlet opening. The optional Industry’s Best 360° rotating seal perfectly covers all inactive outlets to keep the interior debris and dust free in our round models. This seal system pairs with our innovative Directional Bin Vent System.

To ensure long lasting performance, we offer a selection of wear liners in urethane, abrasion-resistant steel and ceramic hex tiles. All turnheads are equipped with large maintenance doors hinged to the main body and drive housings for easy interior access. Essmueller’s standard housing is carbon steel, painted with a quality enamel finish.
